In between this year’s Christmas dinner conversations, our friends and I kept referring to many funny videos we had all seen in the past regarding language misunderstanding. All of our guests, minus my husband, are language teachers. However, living in Europe allows my husband to inadvertently be a language teacher amongst his friends and colleagues.

Christmas Baking…
It is the last Sunday before Christmas, officially the 23rd of December. My husband is off looking for a Christmas tree and I am in the kitchen baking delicious desserts for our friends and ourselves for the holiday ahead.

A little bit of fun
FU WordPress!
I just spent the last three hours thinking and typing a response to the whacked out situation in America only to find out the WordPress didn’t save ANY drafts while I was writing, even if I pressed save draft…
I AM LIVID RIGHT NOW!!!
WTH America!
Third times the charm with this baby! I don’t even want to tell you how long it took me to retype this. After the first attempt at posting I felt it was my duty to rewrite this topic from my perspective because there isn’t any better time than the present. You can see my initial reaction to WordPress not saving my work here, even after I had clicked on the save draft button numerous times.
While I have attempted to remain rather neutral on this issue, as Ezra Klein recently pointed out, doing just that is rather impossible and is a political act in itself.
